Thursday in Albury Wodonga

We all seemed to be up a bit early this morning.  We hopped in the car this morning and headed to the Albury information center.  The lady there was informative, believe it or not and told us to be sure to get to the Library for an exhibition that was moved from the Art Museum due to building upgrades.  We were lucky to see some beautiful paintings and even got to vote for the Archibald Portrait Art Prize.  While we were there WIN Television interviewed my dad and Richard regarding what brought them to see the art.

After the art we headed to see the dam wall.  There were some gorgeous views on the way to Hume Lake.  On our way back to civilization we stopped off for coffee and cocoa and the sweet lady in the bakery loved Dad and Richard and, as they were about to close, gave them 3 sausage rolls and 2 meat pies - what schmoozers they are.

We decided to make it an early night.  Dad and Richard drove all over Albury looking for the laundromat suggested by the landlady of the rental only to find out she had no idea what she was talking about -  luckily came upon a laundrette while trying to get back to the rental - Mom and I were downloading our photos from the day.  We have packed up and are ready to roll out tomorrow...Cooma here we come.
